Definition

The Europass Diploma Supplement is a document developed jointly by the EU, the Council of Europe and UNESCO and it includes additional information about your studies, the level of your qualification and the competence it provides to access further study and employment. It is a personal document, referring specifically to the holder.

Where can I get the Europass Diploma Supplement?

The Diploma Supplement is automatically issued to all higher education graduates when they receive their diploma. Finnish law requires higher education institutions to present their students with a diploma supplement that is specifically intended for international use.

The Europass Diploma Supplement is not a substitute for the original diploma and it does not automatically guarantee recognition of the qualification.
